FFETA was formed in 1973 for the benefit of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers of fire fighting equipment and their customers.

Our main aims are to inform members and encourage customer satisfaction through product integrity and our Code of Conduct.

South African Certification and Auditing Services (SACAS) is one of the leading certification bodies in South Africa. It opened up offices in Ireland to service Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Europe over and above the services we rendered throughout Africa, rendering value-added certification services. We provide value-added certification services across Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. 

SAQCC Fire is a Non-Profit Company, established to ensure that individuals and companies designing, installing and servicing gas suppression, fire detection systems, and fire protection equipment have the correct training, qualifications and experience. 

All Technicians & Technical Personnel working on projects should at all times carry their SAQCC cards with them as proof of their competence and acquired training to facilitate the work at hand.

The cidb is a Schedule 3A public entity and was established by Act of Parliament (Act 38 of 2000)  to promote a regulatory and developmental framework that builds:

• Construction industry delivery capability for South Africa’s social and economic growth.

• A proudly South African construction industry that delivers to globally competitive standards.

Certificate of compliance for the compensation for occupational injuries and diseases act 130 of 1993 for the supply, installation and maintenance of fire control equipment.
