Though many buildings have protection in the form of extinguishers and sprinkler system, these can have major disadvantages for rooms of high importance. Good examples of such rooms are Server Rooms, Computer Rooms, Archives and Substations. The equipment within these areas are generally working 24/7 to ensure consistency within the working environment.

Extinguishers require human intervention since they don't automatically activate during the event of a fire. That usually means that you don't have 24 hour protection and people just don't react as quickly as detection systems.

Sprinklers do provide excellent protection within buildings, however, the fire already reaches high intensity before the bulbs burst. Another major factor is that the area is basically flooded with water, which causes irreparable damage to electronic equipment and paper files.

Gas suppression is then your answer to extinguish a fire without harming any of the equipment or files within the protected area. Many systems are also designed in such a way that it causes no harm to personnel, if they are trapped within the protected area.

LEHAVOT KITCHEN-HOOD FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM

Centa Group Kitchen Systems are UL approved and designed to meet the needs of kitchen areas typically found in hotels, restaurants and public institutions. The Centa kitchen systems must be installed by "Levahot" trained and certified Centa technicians.
