OUR STORY

Founded as OFS Fire Services by Charles Douglas Whitehead in 1971, the company has undergone many changes over the years. As one of the most prominent names in the fire industry, we have constantly evolved, striving to increase our abilities to bring the best possible products as well as the highest quality of service directly to our customers.

Our company has grown exponentially over the years, allowing us the ability to be one of the largest suppliers of fire equipment, as well as the rendering of service in the entire Free State, Northern Cape and North West Regions.

To further increase our abilities, we have built our own premises consisting of a double floor Admin section, Systems department, Warehouse, Workshop and Stores. Even with these capabilities, we also have multiple technical personnel with equipped vehicles that come directly to you.

The Centa Group was established in 2001 and as one of the founding members, we use group ability to further improve on our provision of the best possible service and products to our clients.

Always looking forward and aspiring to constantly improve ourselves, we have embraced the latest practices and technology to keep up with the ever evolving industry. As a commitment to our clients, we strive towards being accredited in all required fields within our industry. Our technicians have also undergone the requirements in order to gain SAQCC registration as proof of their training and competence.
